The Kitchen Table is all about local food and local people. We are a small company, consisting of Hannah and Sima, catering for all kinds of events in and around Totnes, Devon. With our bespoke, friendly service we aim to produce creative and delicious food, keeping our customers’ needs central to the menu design.

Our menus are created in tune with the seasons, celebrating nature’s bounty. We will happily tailor our menus for all dietary requirements using the very best of local produce. We are particularly passionate about supporting growers of heritage vegetables and producers of rare breed meat, as we appreciate the differences in quality and all the wonderful flavours, colours and shapes that are out there.

We love the diversity and strength of our food network and we try to support and build on these links by buying our key ingredients within a 30 mile radius of Totnes. We believe that by building lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with other local businesses we are strengthening our community and ensuring its resilience for the future. There is a wealth of fantastic producers in this area so we are spoilt for choice!

We ensure our other essential ingredients are shipped, not flown; as a business we try to operate as sustainably as we know how and are always striving to improve.
