The Kitchen Table came about over a shared love and passion for food, we want to share that passion with you.
Sima can’t remember a time when she wasn’t cooking, thinking about cooking, or talking about cooking. Seriously it’s constant! Sima was the chef for the Real Food Store’s restaurant in Exeter until The Kitchen Table started in 2011.
After spending a year growing organic vegetables for a vegetarian restaurant at C.A.T in Wales Hannah decided to learn how to cook them. In 2005 she gained an NVQ in Professional Cookery and a burning desire to get into the kitchen. She has worked in kitchens in the UK and New Zealand, including the best seafood restaurant on the South Island, Fleur’s Place. Her last job was as the Sous-chef for Tim Golder’s restaurant Oliva, in Topsham.
